Silvia Paoli, Your Florentine Guide

I am a true Florentine, born in Florence and living in this city since ever!

I live near the old town centre and am so in love with my city that I love its merits and forgive its defects.
I am particularly curious and as a result I have travelled a lot, particularly in Germany, a beautiful country where several friends of mine, both German and Italian, reside.
England is also one of my favourite destinations. At least once a year I have to visit London’s finest bridge, Tower Bridge.
I have obtained the license of licensed Tourist Guide for Florence and Province recognized by the Region of Tuscany in the following languages: ITALIAN, ENGLISH and GERMAN and consequently I specialized in the Florentine Art History.
Passionate about Tuscan cuisine and good food, I often stop my tours with small breaks for some appetizers with a good glass of Chianti or even a good homemade ice cream. I recommend typical Florentine Osterias and trattorias where you can eat well.

The history of my city is vast, interesting and exciting.
I will be happy to convey to you all this enthusiasm of mine and, more than taking you around, I would like to make you “live” what really is Florence, its colours, scents and flavours.
Florence not as a postcard, but instead less known but more true, Florence illustrated by a true Florentine.
